Inspired by Roberto Burle Marx’s mosaic sidewalks in Rio de Janeiro, Peter’s Pavers is their first wallpaper release, introduced as part of the Studio Printworks Great Contemporary Artists Collection.
Wallpaper and product design is the latest application of the collective talents of artists Peter Exley, FAIA and Sharon Exley, MAAE who are teachers, educative designers™, and generators of good ideas. Working and living in Chicago under the umbrella of Architecture Is Fun, the colorful pair have amassed an impressive portfolio of interactive environments for children of all ages, developing architecture, interiors, exhibits, and learning resources for sensorial and enlightened experiences as part of daily life.
Now, these award-winning play perpetrators overlay a playful attitude with a hand-drawn sensibility that is fresh and pulsating in wallpaper form.
